Dr. Avi Islur received his bachelor of science in biology at The University of Western Ontario in 1998. He obtained his medical degree from The University of Toronto in 2002. He then completed his residency in Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery at The University of Manitoba in 2007. Additional specialty training was completed at the prestigious Buncke Clinic in San Francisco, California.
Dr. Avi Islur was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Throughout his life, Dr. Avi Islur has studied all forms of art and has carried this passion into his career.
He is a published author of articles and medical journals in aesthetic surgery, reconstructive surgery, and microsurgery literature. Dr. Avi Islur has presented research at national and international reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery conferences. Dr. Avi Islur travels regularly, teaching his surgical techniques to other leaders in the aesthetic industry.
Dr. Avi Islur is an Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba. He remains heavily involved in academia, having published numerous research and clinical articles in peer-reviewed plastic surgery journals.
He is among a few Canadian members of the prestigious American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. This association only provides membership to Plastic Surgeons who have demonstrated significant clinical cases in Cosmetic Surgery. Members must uphold the highest moral and ethical standards at all levels of their practice.

Dr. Ryan Mitchell is a Board Certified Cosmetic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon in Winnipeg. Unlike most Plastic Surgeons in Canada, Dr. Mitchell has both Canadian and American Board Certifications in Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Mitchell completed his training in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery in 2013 at the University of Manitoba. Soon after, he was accepted at the prestigious World-Renowned Fellowship for Body Contouring at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Upon completing his fellowship training, Dr. Ryan Mitchell began his career in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery at a private practice in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he practiced for two years before returning to Winnipeg. Dr. Mitchell has been providing complex body contouring procedures since 2014.
Dr. Mitchell is Manitoba’s only Plastic Surgeon who is Fellowship trained in Body Contouring procedures with expertise in Body Contour Correction for individuals who have lost a significant amount of weight.

Dr. Brichacek is actively involved in the field of Plastic Surgery. He is the chair of the Young Plastic Surgeons Committee for the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Member of the Executive Committee of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is a peer reviewer for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, as well as the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
